Real Madrid resumes negotiations to sign Rodri from Manchester City

Real Madrid has restarted talks to acquire Rodri, following Spain's World Cup victory over Argentina on July 19. The club's management, led by Florentino Pérez, appears to be shifting focus towards bolstering the midfield, recognizing the need for immediate impact signings. This change comes amid fan and media pressure for short-term success, particularly under manager José Mourinho. Should the transfer proceed, it may lead to changes in the starting lineup, impacting current midfield players. Negotiations are reportedly ongoing.
