Real Madrid shifts focus from Rodri to finalized Silva transfer

Real Madrid has decided to redirect its transfer strategy after agreeing to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City. Silva, a former teammate, is set to join on a two-year deal with an option for a third, following the expiration of his current contract at the end of June. Jose Mourinho prioritized the signing shortly after his appointment as head coach. With Silva onboard, interest in Manchester City midfielder Rodri has reportedly diminished. Rodri has expressed some distance from transfer talks and is considering an extension with his current club as he focuses on the upcoming World Cup.
