Real Madrid targets Julian Alvarez amid Barcelona interest this summer

Summary

Real Madrid is pursuing Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez, who publicly requested to be transfer-listed. Atleti reportedly favors selling to Madrid over Barcelona, especially with Madrid's offer of €150 million on the table. According to Josep Pedrerol on El Chiringuito TV, the expectation within Madrid's management is that Atletico will ultimately negotiate a transfer with them. Barcelona is also vying for Alvarez but may need to present a stronger financial offer to sway the deal in their favor.
