Real Madrid terminate Dani Ceballos' contract ahead of return to Betis

Summary

Real Madrid and midfielder Dani Ceballos have mutually agreed to terminate his contract, which was set to expire next summer. Ceballos, who has been marginalized in recent seasons following a conflict with Alvaro Arbeloa, will end his nine-year tenure with the club. The 29-year-old has decided to forgo his final year of salary, allowing him to join Real Betis as a free agent. This decision comes as Madrid prepares for new signings, including Bernardo Silva and potentially Enzo Fernandez, while also indicating further departures from the squad.
