Real Madrid won’t pursue Julian Alvarez after his transfer wish

Summary

Real Madrid has announced they will not pursue a transfer for Julian Alvarez, despite the Atletico Madrid forward's public desire to leave. Following a €150 million bid that was rejected by Atletico Madrid, discussions regarding Alvarez's potential move have stalled. Alvarez admitted his wish to transfer after a recent game, but Real Madrid's management confirmed that they have no plans to re-enter negotiations. With squad depth as a key factor, they do not see a position for Alvarez in their lineup. The situation appears to be settled for the time being.
