Real Salt Lake agrees to loan deal for former Bayern midfielder Taylor Booth

Real Salt Lake has reportedly reached an agreement to acquire Taylor Booth on loan from FC Twente. The deal, which includes an option for the Major League Soccer club to purchase the player, would bring the former Bayern Munich youth product back to his home state of Utah. Booth would join his brother, Zach, who is currently on loan at Real Salt Lake from the Dutch side Excelsior. A product of the Real Salt Lake Academy, Taylor Booth moved to the Bayern Munich system in 2019 and later played for FC Utrecht before joining FC Twente on a free transfer in 2025. During his time in Germany, he logged 52 appearances across various levels of the organization, including a debut for the first team in a DFB-Pokal match. The move marks a return for the midfielder to the organization where he began his career.
