Real Salt Lake edged the LA Galaxy 2-1 in Sandy, Utah, on Saturday, securing a playoff position in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. The Galaxy, needing a win to advance, fell behind 2-0 early and failed to recover. The result caps a disappointing season for LA, following their 2024 MLS Cup victory. RSL's consistent performance comes despite midseason struggles, including a 13-game winless streak. As the regular season ends, playoff matchups are set to begin on November 19.
