Rebeca Andrade returns at Pan American Gymnastics Championships this week

Rebeca Andrade, a six-time Olympic medalist, begins her Olympic comeback at the 2026 Pan American Gymnastics Championships in Rio de Janeiro from June 17–21. This marks her first competition since the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she faced Simone Biles. Andrade aims to compete in one or two events and has her sights set on the 2026 World Championships in October. Competing in front of a home crowd adds significance to this event for Andrade, who has made a name in gymnastics by winning multiple medals, including gold at the Tokyo Olympics and the 2022 World all-around title.
