Rece Davis updates his top 10 college football team rankings

ESPN College GameDay host Rece Davis released his updated top 10 college football rankings following the completion of Week 1 games. Notre Dame remains at the top spot after a 41-13 victory against Wisconsin. The rankings place Ohio State at No. 2, followed by Indiana, Miami, and Oregon. Davis ranks Georgia at No. 6, keeping the Bulldogs outside of his top five despite their status as the second-ranked team in the AP Poll. Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas Tech round out the remainder of his top 10 list. The updated rankings arrive ahead of the Week 2 broadcast in Austin, Texas, where Texas is scheduled to host Ohio State. Davis remains a voter in the AP Poll and is the only analyst currently placing Georgia outside the top five while maintaining their status as the highest-ranked SEC team on his list.
