Red Bull mocks FIA engine status following the Italian Grand Prix

Red Bull Racing has launched a social media campaign criticizing the FIA after the governing body labeled their power unit the most powerful in Formula 1. The designation under the ADUO system prevents the team from implementing certain engine upgrades available to rivals. Max Verstappen and team principal Laurent Mekies have expressed skepticism regarding the FIA findings, citing a disparity between official data and track performance. Despite the internal combustion engine ranking, the team remains without a grand prix win in 2026. The ADUO system focuses solely on internal combustion engine power and excludes electrical components from its calculations. Red Bull will retain this benchmark status until the next evaluation stage, which covers the period from the Dutch Grand Prix through the Mexican Grand Prix.
