Red Deer Rebels acquire Kaden Meyer from Calgary Hitmen

The Red Deer Rebels have added 18-year-old defenceman Kaden Meyer from the Calgary Hitmen on September 15, 2026. In return, Calgary received a fourth-round pick in the 2028 WHL Prospects Draft. Meyer, who had a rookie season last year scoring one goal and totaling seven points in 38 games, has previously been traded from the Kamloops Blazers to the Rebels. The Rebels aim to strengthen their defensive lineup with this acquisition.
