Red Sox complete sweep of Dodgers with 8-4 victory in LA

The Boston Red Sox defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-4 on Sunday, finishing a three-game sweep at Dodger Stadium. The Red Sox started strong, scoring two runs against Emmet Sheehan in the first inning. After the Dodgers took a brief lead with three runs in the second, Boston responded with three home runs in the third inning, securing their dominance. This victory pushes the Red Sox to 60-51 and solidifies their position as a top contender in the AL wild-card race. Emmet Sheehan's performance raised questions about his future in the Dodgers' rotation, particularly following the acquisition of Tarik Skubal.
