The Boston Red Sox are set to play a three-game series against the New York Yankees this weekend in the Bronx, followed by another three-game set against the Tampa Bay Rays. Currently, the Red Sox sit in last place in the American League East, 10.5 games behind the Rays and 3.5 games from a Wild Card spot. Interim manager Chad Tracy has led the team to a 16-17 record since taking over, following the dismissal of Alex Cora. The Yankees lead the AL with a 3.31 team ERA but may be without star outfielder Aaron Judge due to injury.
