Red Sox prepare for Adley Rutschman's activation, face roster decision

Adley Rutschman is set to make his debut for the Boston Red Sox as they prepare for a roster move following Monday's game in Toronto. The team recently acquired Rutschman from the Baltimore Orioles, giving up significant prospects. Jake Rogers, who performed well in his short stint, may be the player cut to make room for Rutschman, raising questions about retaining Connor Wong as a backup. CBO Craig Breslow defended the trade despite criticism about the cost in prospects, indicating it was necessary to address the catching position now rather than later.
