Red Sox pursuing Randy Arozarena as offseason signing

Summary

The Boston Red Sox are reportedly interested in signing free agent Randy Arozarena this offseason. Arozarena, a three-time All-Star outfielder, had a successful season with the Seattle Mariners, hitting.281 with 26 home runs and 81 RBIs. Boston's offense was inconsistent during their wild-card series loss to the New York Yankees, prompting the need for reinforcements. Arozarena's postseason success and impact as a bat could provide the offensive upgrade the team seeks. However, uncertainty remains about the Red Sox's willingness to spend significantly to acquire him.
