Red Wings and IronPigs suspended, doubleheader scheduled for July 2

The game between the Rochester Red Wings and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at ESL Ballpark was suspended due to inclement weather with the IronPigs leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth inning. The teams will resume this suspended game on Thursday, July 2, at 5:05 p.m., followed by a second seven-inning game. Gates will open at 4 p.m. Paxton Schultz is set to pitch for the Red Wings when play resumes, while Connor Van Scoyoc will make his Red Wings debut as the starter for the second game. Fans who attended the suspended game can exchange tickets for any future home game of the 2026 regular season.
