Red Wings fans boo Dylan Larkin during first shift of season
Summary

During his first shift of the 2026-27 NHL season, Dylan Larkin faced a chorus of boos from Red Wings fans at Little Caesars Arena. The crowd reacted negatively each time Larkin touched the puck, marking an awkward return for one of Detroit's top players against the Ottawa Senators. The sparse attendance at the arena made the booing even more pronounced. Larkin's ongoing performance may still influence the fans' sentiment as the game continues.
