Red Wings maintain European operations amid front office changes

The Detroit Red Wings continue their European operations without disruption despite recent front office changes. Following the removal of Steve Yzerman as GM, Shawn Horcoff has taken over as interim GM, while Dan Cleary assumes similar duties with the Grand Rapids Griffins. Nicklas Lidstrom remains vice president of hockey operations, now with added responsibilities in Europe. Lidstrom confirmed that Hakan Andersson and Niklas Kronwall will continue in their current roles. Uncertainty lingers about the future structure of the organization and Horcoff's potential as a permanent GM.
