Red Wings rally falls short against Worcester Red Sox in 8-7 loss

The Rochester Red Wings were unable to complete a comeback from a seven-run deficit, losing 8-7 to the Worcester Red Sox at Polar Park on July 10. After falling behind 8-1, the Red Wings began their rally with a home run from Yohandy Morales in the sixth inning. They scored four runs in the seventh and eighth innings, closing the gap to one run. Despite having the tying run on third in the eighth, the rally ended when Morales grounded out. Trey Lipscomb and Morales both contributed with home runs, while Andrew Pinckney and Joey Wiemer had key hits during the late-game push. The Red Wings out-hit the Red Sox but left nine runners on base.
