Red Wings score late but fall to Mud Hens 2-1 at ESL Ballpark

The Rochester Red Wings lost to the Toledo Mud Hens 2-1 on Tuesday night at ESL Ballpark. After a strong start from Toledo's Troy Watson, who allowed only two hits, the Mud Hens took a 2-0 lead with a solo homer from Andrew Navigato and a run driven in by Ben Malgeri. Trey Lipscomb hit a solo home run in the sixth for Rochester, but the Red Wings could not capitalize further. Rochester's pitching, particularly from Andre Granillo, Cole Henry, and Luke Young, kept the game close with 4 scoreless innings. The Red Wings remain in first place in their division but trail Memphis by a game for the league lead.
