Redd Thompson scored 17 points leading Mount St. Mary's to a 68-57 victory over Loyola (Maryland) on Friday in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Thompson also recorded six rebounds and five assists. Mount St. Mary’s took control late in the first half and maintained the lead throughout the second half, highlighted by a 10-0 run that pushed their advantage to 13 points. Abdou Khadre Kebe contributed 15 points for the Mountaineers, while Leo Ricketts led the Greyhounds with 15 points and four steals. Mount St. Mary’s will play Virginia Tech next, while Loyola faces Washington (MD) on Monday.
