Reece James ruled out for England's World Cup match against Panama

England will face Panama this Saturday in a World Cup match, aiming to solidify their position at the top of Group L. However, manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that right-back Reece James will miss the game due to a thigh issue, specifically a slight hamstring injury. James has not trained in the past two days and will undergo an accelerated rehabilitation program, with assessments taking place game by game. His absence may extend to at least two matches, which poses a challenge for the team as they potentially prepare for a round of 16 clash against Portugal. Tuchel mentioned that Trevor Chalobah has been called up to fill the right-back position, alongside Djed Spence.
