Reese Alston includes Kentucky Wildcats in top seven schools

Reese Alston, a five-star point guard in the class of 2027, has narrowed his list of potential colleges to seven, with Kentucky making the cut. The 6-foot-2 Alston plays for Houston Second Baptist and is currently ranked No. 9 nationally and No. 1 in Texas. His other finalists include Houston, Tennessee, LSU, Vanderbilt, Louisville, and Wichita State. Kentucky assistant coach Mikhail McLean has been actively involved in Alston's recruitment, which presents a positive sign for the Wildcats as they look to build their 2027 class. Competition is heating up, particularly from Louisville, but the recruitment process remains ongoing.
