Reese Esponda wins all-around and floor titles at U.S. Classic

Reese Esponda claimed the all-around and floor titles at the 2026 U.S. Classic held in Hartford on Saturday. Esponda posted a score of 54.900 in the all-around, outpacing two-time Olympian Jade Carey, who scored 54.050. She excelled in her final three events, winning the floor title with a score of 13.950 and finishing second on vault with 14.150. Future LSU teammate Tatum Drusch placed 12th in the all-around with a total score of 50.150. Both gymnasts are expected to compete at the 2026 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships in August in Phoenix.
