Reid, Kempe named E-N football Players of the Week

Lance Reid of Pieper and Pike Kempe of Steele have been named Players of the Week by the E-N. Reid, a junior quarterback, threw for 482 yards and six touchdowns in Pieper's 62-31 victory over East Central. Kempe, a junior linebacker, recorded 15 tackles in Steele's 57-12 win against Judson, contributing significantly on both defense and special teams. Other standout performances included Brennan's Johnas Brewster, who tallied 10 tackles in a win, and Floresville's Drake Coronado, who passed for four touchdowns in a comeback victory.
