Reinaldo Perez commits to Indiana, choosing over Ohio State and others

Columbus Academy defensive lineman Reinaldo Perez has announced his commitment to Indiana University on June 3. The four-star recruit was highly sought after, having received interest from several schools, including Ohio State, where he held an offer for a year. Last fall, Perez recorded impressive statistics, including 87½ tackles and 10 sacks, solidifying his status as a top player in central Ohio. He is currently ranked No. 296 among high school prospects in the nation and No. 11 in Ohio according to 247Sports. As a reminder, high school athletes can officially sign with programs in December.
