He notes that the text is structured as 40 individual stories, allowing readers to navigate specific historical moments like the 1987 replacement players or the 2016 Dallas Cowboys draft process. The work also explores the evolution of the NFL’s popularity compared to other major sports leagues. King conducted new interviews for the book over the past year and a half to re-examine events from his time as an insider. The book is currently available for pre-order.
