Rhett Lowder shines as Reds top Cardinals 4-2 in St. Louis

Rhett Lowder delivered a strong performance for the Cincinnati Reds, pitching five innings in a 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday. Lowder allowed just one hit and two runs while striking out four batters, bouncing back from a prior outing where he permitted eight earned runs in fewer than three innings.
