Rhode Island high school teams record results across soccer and tennis

Rhode Island athletic programs continued their fall schedules on Friday with a slate of soccer, field hockey, and tennis matches. In girls soccer, Mt. Hope earned a 3-2 victory over East Greenwich, while Pilgrim secured a 3-1 win against St. Raphael. The Providence Country Day girls soccer team posted a 6-0 shutout against Mount Pleasant, fueled by a hat trick from Maddie Ford. On the boys side, Lincoln pulled away in the second half to beat East Greenwich 4-2. Field hockey saw Moses Brown defeat North Kingstown 12-1, led by four goals from Maddie Peterson, and Chariho/Prout shut out Pilgrim 4-0.
