Amarion Smith-Holley, the reigning Journal Star Large-School Boys Basketball Player of the Year, announced his transfer from Richwoods High to Link Academy in Branson, Missouri, effective June 12. As a standout guard, he averaged 21.2 points per game last season. Meanwhile, Richwoods has welcomed two Peoria High transfers, Orlando Edwards Jr. and Jacob Duffin Jr., both of whom were key starters in their previous season. Edwards Jr. averaged 10.1 points and Duffin Jr. averaged 10.9 points, contributing to Peoria High’s successful 23-7 record. The Knights are looking to maintain their competitive edge following Smith-Holley's departure and the addition of new talent.
