Rick Pitino targets Peyton Siva for St. John’s assistant coach position

Rick Pitino is reportedly looking to hire Peyton Siva as an assistant coach at St. John’s after a successful exhibition victory in The Bahamas. Siva, a former star point guard at Louisville, is currently an assistant coach with the Cardinals and has specialized in developing point guards. He would replace Greg Youncofski, who left to join Richard Pitino's staff at Xavier. Despite his deep ties to Louisville, Siva faces a challenging decision with the opportunity to work under a Hall of Famer like Pitino.
