Ricky Pearsall expected to improve in 2026 for 49ers

Summary

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft, aims to make significant strides in 2026. After a challenging start to his career due to a gunshot wound and subsequent injuries that limited his games, he finished last season with 67 receptions for 928 yards and three touchdowns over two seasons. NFL.com analyst Nick Shook anticipates a breakout year for Pearsall, attributing this to a bolstered receiving corps that includes new signings Mike Evans and Christian Kirk. If Pearsall can stay healthy, expectations are high for his impact this coming season.
