Rienk Mast joins Netherlands roster for FIBA World Cup Qualifiers

Rienk Mast, a former Nebraska men's basketball player, has been named to the Netherlands roster for the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers. Mast, who played for Nebraska from 2024 to 2026, averaged 13.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists last season. After competing in the NBA Summer League with the Indiana Pacers, where he averaged 15.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, Mast now looks forward to his role in the qualifiers. The final 12-man roster for the national team will be announced later. Mast is one of four Huskers in the qualifiers alongside Jack McVeigh, Thorir Thorbjarnarson, and Tai Webster, with the World Cup set for August 27 to September 12 in Qatar.
