Rio Ferdinand advises Manchester United on Lisandro Martinez comments

Rio Ferdinand discussed how Manchester United can address the unrest following Lisandro Martinez’s critical comments after a loss to Atletico Madrid. Martinez accused the club's hierarchy of failing to support manager Michael Carrick adequately and indicated he might not renew his contract, expressing intent to leave as a free agent. Ferdinand emphasized the need for clearer communication among players and management to avoid further division within the squad. He warned that the club faces a decision on whether to impose sanctions on Martinez, as failing to act may encourage future public dissent from other players.
