Rio Ferdinand suggests Benzema as solution for Manchester United

Summary

Rio Ferdinand has recommended signing Karim Benzema to address Manchester United's forward shortage. The club's summer transfer activity focused on midfielders, which has left them without experienced options up front due to injuries, particularly Benjamin Sesko's recent issues. Ferdinand believes Benzema could provide crucial experience and depth for the team during a demanding schedule. The 38-year-old forward, a free agent after leaving Al-Hilal, remains a high-profile option despite concerns over his commitment to the sport.
