Rishabh Pant reaches 100 sixes in Test cricket, surpasses Adam Gilchrist

Rishabh Pant achieved a milestone by becoming the first Indian batter to hit 100 sixes in Test cricket on August 18 at Galle, Sri Lanka. He reached this mark during India's second innings of the first Test against Sri Lanka while scoring a quick-fire 66 runs off 69 balls. Pant is now the fastest player to reach this milestone, surpassing Adam Gilchrist, who had 100 sixes in 137 innings. Pant is now only six maximums behind Brendon McCullum's 107 sixes, and he ranks third overall among wicket-keepers in this category. His performance contributed to India's substantial lead, but they experienced a batting collapse in that innings.
