Ritch Price of Kansas baseball set for ABCA Hall of Fame induction

Ritch Price, the all-time winningest head coach for Kansas baseball, will be inducted into the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Hall of Fame as part of the 2027 class. Price coached the Jayhawks for 20 seasons from 2003 to 2022, leading the team to three NCAA tournament appearances and a Big 12 tournament title in 2006. Over his 44-year career, he amassed 1,199 victories, including 798 at the Division I level. The induction ceremony is scheduled for January 8, 2027, in Chicago. Following his retirement, Kansas hired Dan Fitzgerald, who has led the team to consecutive NCAA tournaments in 2025 and 2026.
