Riverton Rams defeat Quapaw Wildcats in season opening soccer game

The Riverton Rams opened their season with a 50-0 victory over the Quapaw Wildcats in a cross-border matchup held in Quapaw, Oklahoma. Riverton built a 25-0 lead by halftime and matched that scoring performance in the second half to secure the shutout. The Rams dominated both sides of the ball throughout the contest. Quapaw entered the game following a win over Chelsea last week in which the team scored more than 40 points, but the squad failed to find similar offensive success against Riverton. The Rams are scheduled to visit St. Mary's-Colgan next Thursday. Meanwhile, Quapaw seeks to rebound from the loss during an upcoming road game against Afton next Friday.
