ROAR Offshore returns to Fort Myers Beach for four-day racing event

The ROAR Offshore powerboat racing series returns to Fort Myers Beach from September 10 through September 13. Owned by racers Shaun Torrente and Cole Leibel, the event features a smaller, streamlined schedule focused exclusively on the Super Stock class. Organizers have consolidated the paddock and race village near the Margaritaville Beach Resort to improve spectator access. The event includes four days of activities, including qualifying heats, a Times Square pit party, and meet-and-greet sessions with teams. The championship race is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday on a 4-mile closed-circuit course along the coastline. Eighteen 32-foot catamarans are expected to compete, with all land-based events open to the public without admission fees.
