Robert Deziel moves to Legia Warsaw to compete in the Polish top division

Robert Deziel, a 21-year-old American defender, has joined 15-time Polish Ekstraklasa champions Legia Warsaw on a free transfer. The move follows a multi-year stint in Germany, including youth experience with Bayern Munich and loan spells with fourth-tier side VSG Altglienicke. Since signing a contract through June 2030, Deziel has transitioned into a permanent center-back role and secured a position in the starting lineup. He has made seven appearances for the club, contributing to a campaign that currently sees the team sitting second in the league table.
