Robert Morris University's athletic director Chris King resigns

Chris King has resigned as the athletic director and vice president of Robert Morris University, effective immediately. King has held this position since 2019 and made the announcement through a press release on June 1, 2026. In his statement, he expressed gratitude for the experiences and accomplishments during his tenure and mentioned plans to pursue new professional opportunities. University President Dr. Michelle Patrick acknowledged King's contributions, particularly regarding the success of student-athletes. A national search for his replacement is underway.
