Titans quarterback Cam Ward showed mixed results in his preseason debut against the Seahawks on August 14. After a strong opening drive that covered 95 yards and ended in a touchdown by Tony Pollard, Ward struggled with consistency, completing 5 of 12 passes for 57 yards over three series. Coach Robert Saleh noted that Ward appeared 'sped up' compared to training camp, attributing this to the pressure of live action. Ward acknowledged the need to improve his passing game and synchronization with his receivers. The Titans have over a week to address these concerns before their next game.
- •Ward's first drive resulted in a 95-yard, touchdown-scoring play.
- •He finished 5-of-12 passing for 57 yards in the game.
- •Saleh observed Ward's mechanics were affected by game pressure.
- •Ward emphasized the need for better coordination with receivers.
- •The Titans will play the Seahawks in their next preseason game.
