Robert Saleh prepares for Titans debut against former team the Jets

New Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh leads his team against the New York Jets in Sunday's season opener. This marks Saleh's first game at the helm of the Titans following his tenure with the Jets, where he recorded a 20-36 record before his departure during the 2024 season. Saleh and several Titans players previously associated with the New York organization have characterized the matchup as a standard business task rather than a personal vendetta. The Tennessee roster features seven players who played under Saleh in New York, including defensive end Jermaine Johnson II, Solomon Thomas, and John Franklin-Myers. While some players view the reunion as a significant motivator, Saleh maintains his focus remains on securing a win for the opening week of the season. The Titans are aiming to move past four consecutive losing seasons under their new coaching staff.
