Robin Evans and Suzanne Comer earn South Plains Women's Golf honors

The South Plains Women's Golf Association concluded its 2026 season with awards recognizing outstanding performances. Robin Evans of the Rawls Course was named the Medalist, while the Renata Hargrave Award for low net went to Suzanne Comer from Hillcrest Golf & Country Club. Myra Chapa of LakeRidge Country Club was recognized as the Sportswoman of the Year. The year-end event took place on September 15 at Hillcrest Golf & Country Club. LakeRidge took first place in team standings for the season, edging Rawls by just one point.
