Rockers win one, lose two at Southern Maryland

The High Point Rockers competed in a three-game series against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at Regency Furniture Stadium over the weekend. The Rockers claimed a 12-3 victory on Friday in a five-inning game, driven by Luke Napleton's two home runs and five RBIs. However, the team fell 13-12 in a 13-inning game on Saturday, where Nick Longhi homered and drove in four runs, but allowed four runs in the bottom of the 13th. On Sunday, the Rockers lost 6-1, despite a strong performance by Mikey Kane, who had four hits. The team will host Charleston and Lexington in the upcoming week.
