The PGA Tour announced that the Rocket Classic scheduled for next month will be the last under the mortgage company's sponsorship. Rocket, which has been the title sponsor since 2019, opted not to extend the partnership past this year, concluding a 13-year relationship. According to tournament director Mark Hollis, the event successfully raised over $10 million for local organizations and elevated Detroit's profile. The PGA Tour remains committed to the Detroit market and will look for a new sponsor ahead of the 2027 schedule, which is undergoing structural changes. Tour CEO Brian Rolapp anticipates progress on the future schedule following a board meeting on June 22.
