Rockets consider trading for Stephen Curry to join Kevin Durant

Summary

A proposed trade would send Stephen Curry to the Houston Rockets to reunite him with Kevin Durant. Analyst Zach Lowe suggested this scenario on his podcast, emphasizing the trade is improbable but highlighted Houston's urgency after two consecutive first-round playoff exits. The Rockets previously acquired Durant to boost their championship aspirations but struggled with injuries during the playoffs. The speculation includes potential player packages, but Lowe noted Golden State would demand substantial compensation. The situation remains hypothetical as Curry has yet to be placed on the trading block.
