Rockies trade Victor Vodnik to Marlins for Connor Norby, Aiden May
Summary

The Colorado Rockies have traded reliever Victor Vodnik to the Miami Marlins just ahead of the deadline on August 3, 2026. In return, the Rockies receive infielder Connor Norby and right-handed pitcher Aiden May. Vodnik, known for his fastball reaching 99 mph, has struggled with consistency, evidenced by a 4.75 BB/9 this season. Norby, a former prospect, has seen limited success in the majors, while May, a High-A pitcher, has shown promise this season with a 3.80 ERA.
