Rockvale, Beech football teams placed on probation after brawl

The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) has imposed a year's probation on Beech football and extended Rockvale's probation through the 2027-28 season following a brawl during a scrimmage on July 31. Several players from both teams have received one-game suspensions as part of self-imposed sanctions by the schools. The incident occurred during a handshake line, resulting in unsportsmanlike conduct penalties for numerous players and bench personnel from both sides. Each school has been fined $500 in addition to the sanctions imposed by TSSAA.
