Rodri prefers Real Madrid over Barcelona amid transfer speculation

Summary

Spanish midfielder Rodri has expressed a strong preference to join Real Madrid, turning down interest from Barcelona. Reports indicate that the deal with Real is progressing quickly, pending agreement on terms and a transfer fee with Manchester City. Despite Barcelona’s attempts to secure Rodri, he appears committed to linking up with Madrid, where he began his career in Spain before moving to the Premier League. Rodri's signing would address a significant need for Real, who currently lack representation from the Spanish World Cup-winning squad.
